This does look too similar to Warband to me, but for people outside of the series there would be nothing wrong with jumping in at this said: " Man, Maybe I should get Mount and Blade, can someone answer me a few questions though?Firstly, This expansion is standalone, so could I just get only this expansion and have everything? Or do you only get the newest content? Secondly, Coop campaign? Can I play with a friend? Hows that work? I assume it'll have LAN, but is it through steam or can we play actual LAN without needing to be connected to the internet? Thanks for whoever answers all these questions haha. I've only bought the original and Warband and I'm waiting for a true sequel before I go back to the series again. The quicklook does no justice to the games scope, so all you are left to judge is the detail and presentation which are admittedly poor. The swordplay and combat in general is very flexible and skill based whilst still feeling visceral and fun. "Mount and Blade is much larger scale than Anomaly, that and the things it does well it does better than any other game. I don't care how many qualifiers you tack onto the game, it doesn't change an opinion. I'm not comparing this game to a triple A game, I'm just making an observation. I just played through Anomaly, a 15 dollar game with a very small team and limited budget and it was a good game. There are less clunky games for that price and there are less clunky games for that size dev team. "15 dollars is hardly a lot to pay "Okay. I don't care if its ugly, the mechanics are jank.
This is a sequel, full priced, and it barely succeeds as a tech demo. You don't need an army of devs to get your proof of concept working.
"You remind me of the people who whine about how mods to games don't have the same polish as multi-million AAA games.
